Anyone else a little bummed out by this new SnapChat update? They took the little timer deal out of the top right corner of people's Snaps and Stories. I liked having that up there to see how many Snaps were coming. Is it just one picture or is it a series of pictures? I could mentally prepare myself for what I was about to get.
Now it's like SnapChat Roulette. I open up someone's Snap Story and I don't know if that Snap is the only one or if 5 more are coming. It's tough to invest in that story if I don't know if that's going to be the end or not. I think more could be coming and all of a sudden, the snaps are over and I have to go to someone else's. It's a little disappointing. Bring the timer back SnapChat.

Just a reminder to everyone that it's Derek Jeter Night at Yankee Stadium today. In a fitting occurrence, last night's game with the Astros got rained out so they are playing two games today on the day they retire Jeter's famous number 2 jersey. The Yankees will play the first game of today's doubleheader starting at 1:05 and then Jeter's jersey retirement will be prior to the second game of the night. Ceremony around 6:30 and game time at 7:05.
I'm not going to rehash Jeter's career or his brilliance, especially on a weekend shortened edition of The Three Count. You already have your opinions on Jeter or have already read some stories about him this week or seen his video. Just devoting a section in The Three Count to Derek to remind you of his day today so you don't forget about it.
If you're a long time reader of The Three Count you already know what this topic is going to be about just on the title. One of the most talked about and most controversial topics we ever discussed in The Three Count was the $2 popcorn being sold at West Central Valley High School. Never in my years of high school basketball playing or watching had I experienced a school selling popcorn for $2. Some words were said, some feelings may have been hurt. You can reread it for yourself here if you'd like.
I'd like to take this time to say the situation has officially been resolved. For me at least, I'm not sure if the prices for next year's basketball season have been changed or not but the head girls basketball coach at West Central Valley personal sent me some WCV swag in the mail to alleviate the stress caused by their popcorn prices that night. Water under the bridge for me from this point forward. Go Wildcats.
