Real talk here guys, I was pretty upset last night at Frank got evicted from Big Brother. Probably a little more than I should have been. I think some of my favorite sports teams have lost in the playoffs before and I haven't been as upset as I was last night. They went to commercial after Frank's eviction and then all of a sudden joy popped up on my television screen.
A brand new Peyton Manning commercial.
Completely caught me off guard. Nobody loves a good Peyton Manning commercial more than this guy, so it was a welcomed site. And I thought it was pretty good. Not his best ever but probably right around the Top 5 range. Here it is for everyone.
Last Friday, I talked about my guys at One Genome Short preparing for the 48 Hour Film Project last weekend. They completed their project and filmed their 11th short feature for the contest. The trailer for their movie came out last night. Here you go.
The full video debuts next Wednesday night at Fleur Cinemas. All the films that participated in the 48 Hour Film Festival will debut on either Tuesday or Wednesday next week at the Fleur Cinema in Des Moines. This particular film from One Genome Short is in the Group D Screening on Wednesday, August 3rd. Tickets are $10 but you may want to get them soon because these events typically sell out in advance. I just bought mine last night, so I'll see you there
I love a good social media craze. Wasn't quite expecting the next craze to involve childhood cartoon icon Arthur and all his pals, but that's what makes these things great. I woke up yesterday morning and was scrolling through my social media after submitting yesterday's Three Count and one guy on my Twitter feed kept retweeting memes of Arthur. Turns out, the internet was filled with memes and captions over old Arthur screenshots.
So down the rabbit hole I went and these things made my day yesterday. You can go to Twitter and just search "Arthur" and some will come up, or you can #ArthurMemes. Or he is some collected all in one location for you.
