I wrote last week about how the Chicago Bulls season was turning into a hot mess and that I hoped they could turn it around for Coach Hoiberg's sake. So I was really glad to see them come together as a team this week and start playing better. I was even more excited to hear players having their teammates' backs when things didn't go well. Signs of real team unity and something that could steer the ship back in the right directions. Glad to see everyone back on the same page.
I wrote a blog in the Wrestling section for the Royal Rumble this weekend where I ranked all the announced (and some unannounced) wrestlers in the Royal Rumble this weekend in order of their chances to actually win the Royal Rumble this Sunday. Real valuable stuff, especially if you are entering the 2017 #TwitterRumble. Here's the link for to read the blog.
I'm sure this is the post you've all been waiting for, the update of my foot injury after my visit to the doctor's office yesterday. After seeing some bruising on my foot Wednesday night my wife convinced me to go to Urgent Care after school on Thursday to get it checked. Yes, most people would have just taken a sick day and gotten checked out during the day but I toughed it out through school. #FeenyMode
After some tests, questions, and X-rays the official verdict was...........Sprained Foot.
So not broken apparently. I didn't even know you could sprain a foot. An ankle yes, but what is in your foot to even sprain? But, my streak of no broken bones in 31 years of life continues. Again, thanks to everyone for all their thoughts, prayers, and kind words during this worrisome time.
