Going to try something new for awhile. Thought about just getting rid of the weekend Three Count's in general, not sure how many people actually care to read stuff on the weekends and it's not like I actually have 21 things a week to blog about. So getting rid of 6 topics a week may not dilute the topics each week as much. But I'm kind of on a roll this year and don't want to stop that momentum.
So I think I'm going to try this for awhile: On weekends I'm going to do an abbreviated Three Counts. Maybe just 2 or 3 sentences per topic. Maybe just even posting a link to something. Or just point you in the direction of something I found interesting that week or something I'm looking forward to in the upcoming week. That's what I was originally intending The Three Count to be anyways. So we'll try it out and see where that takes us.
Iowa State was on the ropes yesterday in Ames against Baylor. Then in the final minute of the game Deonte Burton banked in a three pointer and Solomon Young (a terrible FT shooter) made both free throws in a 1-and-1 situation. And then Baylor missed a three point shot to tie the game because their coach ran the "Drew Family Full Court Heave" play to the wrong side of the court. #HiltonMagic baby!
About 3 weeks ago I blogged about how my Pacers were really starting to figure things out and play some great basketball. And how they could be a threat in the East during the playoffs. Since that blog post, the Pacers have lost 7 out of their last 8 games and almost traded away their franchise player at the trading deadline. My bad.
